#14841 duplicate Aborting VMs anytime Binome
Description

Hi, I use VB 5.0.10r104061 on a Windows 7 x64 host. I only have 2 VMs with Kubuntu and Lubuntu hosts so I don't know if my problem is depending on the guest system. When using any of the VMs it's ending at any time and the "aborted" message appears in the VB window. I have asked for help in the forums: https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=74573&sid=9f7636c06faeaba703b9c82de9481f1c i have tried to change options in the VMs configurations but no result. I post a log in attachment. Thank you for the help.

#12533 fixed Need to show 32-bit versus 64-bit with new VMs => Fixed in SVN Bird2010
Description

I only create VMs for Linux and Windows every few weeks. The problem is that I create the entire VM and install the updates. Then, when I try to install 64-bit applications, the installation fails! I scream because I remember that the default is 32-bit and I have to start ALL OVER from scratch!!!!! We live in a 64-bit world. PLEASE change the default to 64-bit. Better yet, show the bits in BOTH install choices:

In the "Create Virtual Machine" dialog, in the Version dropdown, please add the (32 bit) indicator:

Ubuntu (32 bit) <-- Please add (32 bit) Ubuntu (64 bit) <-- already indicates 64 bit Windows 7 (32 bit) <-- Please add (32 bit) Windows 7 (64 bit) <-- already indicates 64 bit

Thank you!
