| #1794 | fixed | Host hibernation hang after runing Virtual Box with enabled VT-x -> fixed in SVN/2.2 | ||
| Description |
Similar to ticket #1408. Host PC: Notebook HP 9710p, Intel Core 2 duo processor, Windows XP Professional SP3, latest version of Virtual Box (1.6.2). If any guest machine is run with hardware virtualization on (VT-x/AMD-V enabled), the host PC fails to enter hibernation (even after shutting down all of the guest machines and closing Virtual Box). The symptoms are: Start > Shutdown, hibernate, the OS displays "Preparing to hibernate... " message, then the screen goes black and nothing happens. I tried to wait for 15 minutes and nothing happened, only thing to do at this moment is to power off the notebook and power on again. If the guest machines are run using software virtualisation only (VT-x/AMD-V disabled) everything works fine, and the host PC is able to hibernate. Tried with different guest machines, Windows XP SP2, Ubuntu, etc., all behaving the same way. |

| #4499 | fixed | Problems with Cisco VPN client on 3.x | ||
| Description |
With Vbox 3.0, and 3.0.2, problems appeared with a NAT networking. (on 2.2 and 2.4 everything worked fine). Basically not all packages go trough the NAT. Attached is a log and a screenshot, on left a ping command from the guest, on right ping command from the host. This is a problem for VPN and such connections (Cisco VPN for example) that breaks after couple of seconds or random. Bridge on the same physical adapter works just fine, only in NAT mode, this problem is evident. |

| #4935 | fixed | Virtualbox on Netbook (small form factor Notebook), display resolution and colors | ||
| Description |
I'm trying to use VirtualBox on my netbook PC. This PC has limited display resolution, as it is a small 10" LCD screen. The resoult is: 1024 x 576. The Virtualbox is working fine, except for the display. The guest addons are installed, but the color displayed is in 4 bit. The guest window resizing is not working, the seamless mode is not working. The guest resolution is fixed to 800x600. The guest in question is Windows XP SP3, but it is probably same for all the windows guests. I have find this similar issue opened here #4194. Virtualbox version is 3.0.4. |
