#20310 duplicate guest additions 6.1.20 messes up windows 10 guest desktop (Ubuntu 20.04.2 host) eelstrebor
Description

It's the same issue as with guest additions 6.1.18. Very slow launching of apps or apps not showing up at all. When trying to shut down or reboot, the power icon won't display shutdown or reboot or suspend - I have to execute shutdown from the CLI. When trying to uninstall guest additions from the win10 gui, it fails - I have to get to a command prompt (takes a few minutes to get the prompt) and run uninst.exe from the guest additions directory.

#20307 fixed Issue with vboxconfig and "linux_bool" type Yann ILAS
Description

The command vboxconfig finishes in error :

vboxdrv.sh: Stopping VirtualBox services.
vboxdrv.sh: Starting VirtualBox services.
vboxdrv.sh: Building VirtualBox kernel modules.
vboxdrv.sh: failed: Look at /var/log/vbox-setup.log to find out what went wrong.

There were problems setting up VirtualBox. To re-start the set-up process, run
  /sbin/vboxconfig
as root. If your system is using EFI Secure Boot you may need to sign the
kernel modules (vboxdrv, vboxnetflt, vboxnetadp, vboxpci) before you can load
them. Please see your Linux system's documentation for more information.

Linux version :

The error seems to come from the type linux_bool which is not defined (more details in attachment)

   38 | #define bool linux_bool
/tmp/vbox.0/r0drv/linux/the-linux-kernel.h:38:14: error: unknown type name ??linux_bool??
