| #6862 | invalid | vboxusers groups not created on osx 10.6.3 64bit, resulting in no usb external drive capability | ||
| Description |
Virtual Box 3.2.0 r61806 Installing from .dmg in a Snow Leopard host results in incorrect permissions for the dir /dev/vboxdrv. As well, after permissions are applied, there are still no external usb drives that will connect. Other 'on-board' USB devices seem to be detected and able for enabling, only after setting correct permissions for /dev/vboxdrv. In Linux versions, this entire problem is corrected by adding the user to group vboxusers. Vboxusers is not, or is unsuccessfully created on osx10.6.3 through the above .dmg and installer. If 10.6.3 will not have the group for vboxusers, another remedy to restore complete USB functionality should be implemented, preferably within the .dmg installer. |

| #1592 | fixed | vboxsvc uses 100% cpu on startup | ||
| Description |
http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?p=23861#23861 This all began when I acted upon an existing vm and tried to boot up to a new vm, but both of these may be coincidences. |
