| #6997 | fixed | vboxNetFltOsInitInstance(): page allocation failure. order:5, mode:0x20 | ||
| Description |
Greetings, a recent Gentoo bug report [1], showed that network code that leads to vboxNetFltOsInitInstance() spits various "page allocation failure. order:5, mode:0x20" errors in the kernel log [2]. Any ideas on what may be causing this? If you need any further information, don't be shy to post on the Gentoo bugtracker or just comment here and I'll relay to the original bug reporter :) Thank you :) [1]: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=320677 [2]: http://gsxm.net/ct |

| #11033 | obsolete | GUI error during the creation of a virtual disk (WINDOWS 7) | ||
| Description |
There is something that happens that the programmers didn't think of to be addressed by a specific error message during the naming of a new virtual disk with Windows 7 (all earlier versions apply as well. Windows 8 probably applies, too.) Apparently VB creates a file inside of the VB directory somewhere under the exact name as is given for the virtual drive. If you use quotation marks in the name (IE: Ubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal" Beta 2), it will give you an error message saying there was a problem creating the virtual drive, as you cannot include quotation marks in a filename with Windows. |
