#3675 obsolete Color Issues With VirtualBox 2.2 when using a dark color scheme Joshua T Corbin
Description

Although an improvement over 2.1 (vastly, since 2.1 was nigh-on unusable with a dark color scheme), there are still a few issues:

1) The main screen doesn't honor the style's link color

2) The machine settings dialog's header presumes that the style provides a dark foreground color

#3681 obsolete USB problems Magdalena Bugajska
Description

I'm having some strange problems with a Vista guest on OS X host. It's not stable so it makes it harder to describe, but here is sort of the worst case:

  1. I try to capture my USB flash driver (after it was unmounted from the host) or a Logitech webcam.
  2. After a while the device is shown as captured, but with no check mark next to the device in the list and the guest does not see it. Clicking on the device again produces an error with a dialog box saying that it's busy with a previous request. Details are

Result Code: NS_ERROR_INVALID_ARG (0x80070057) Component: HostUSBDevice Interface: IHostUSBDevice {173b4b44-d268-4334-a00d-b6521c9a740a} Callee: IConsole {9511bc54-15ee-4ddf-808e-472aba03809c}

The device will stay marked captured in the manager indefinitely (or longer that I have patience to wait for).

Although one time I simply got a message "error capturing device" with whole bunch of zeros for the name of the device followed by death of VM USB as described in #4.

  1. If I unplug the webcam, it correctly disappears from the list and once connected it is once again just Busy.
  2. If I unplug the USB flash drive without unmounting it in the host system (no clue why it's mounted again), hell breaks loose. Host throws an error and vm ends up showing no USB devices at all. After I shut down the guest, the state in the manager does not change; the guest is marked Running until I restart the application at which point it shows Aborted.

I do not seem to have those problems with internal devices such as built-in webcam.

I have found no way to "recover" except restart the application.

Thanks for your help.
