| #357 | fixed | kde on dualhead: deadlock scenario due to | ||
| Description |
i'm running suse linux 10.1 kernel 2.6.16 on a dualhead with two grafic cards and kde. i ran virtualbox on screen 0 while i was working on screen 1. while a window on screen 1 had focus, i clicked directly into the virtualbox on screen 0. virtualbox started capturing mouse-events and traped the mouse inside the box. not so lucky for me, the window-focus was still on screen 1! so, the keyboard-events for mapped to screen 1 while the mouse could not get out of the box-window on screen 0. therefore, i could neither press the host key to release the mouse nor use the mouse to focus a window on screen 0. since i don't know about a shortkey to jump to the other screen (none of Ctrl+Alt+F* / Ctrl+F* / Alt+Tab worked), i had to reboot the computer using virtual console 1 and so, i was unable to save the work inside the (console-only-) virtual box. |
