| #518 | fixed | [VRDP] TCP Server issue on Linux Hosts | ||
| Description |
Hi, I tried to use a VM (running Windows XP with RDP enabled) on a dedicated server (the Linux host, running Ubuntu Desktop 6.06 OR Debian Etch, it's the same issue with both systems) with VRDP and rdesktop (or RDP on another Windows, it's the same issue with both systems too) and I got, after a short time, this -rdesktop- error message: ERROR: recv: Connection reset by peer; when I cat VBox.log:
00:01:06.885 VRDP: New connection: But before this error I can log in and use the virtual Windows XP normally. This error does not poweroff the VM. When the error raises, I'm *online* and I connect to the VM with just one client at a time. It really seems to be a VBox issue, any help ? Thanks. |

| #519 | fixed | cgpsmapper doesn't work inside VirtualBox -> fixed in SVN/1.4.2 | ||
| Description |
cgpsmapper is a software to create maps for GPSs. The observed problem is that when running it over Windows XP inside VirtualBox 1.4.0 it briefly opens a DOS window and then dies. When I run cgpsmapper on Windows XP outside virtualbox a DOS window presents some help messages then a regular window with some help messages is presented. At this point I can interact with the software. This is the expected behaviour of cgpsmapper. Having described exactly what's happening let me share my thoughts on what might be causing the problem: cgpsmapper has an antipiracy hardware fingerprinting control. I believe cgpsmapper is trying to identify some hardware detail and is isn't accepting VirtualBox's answer. It's important to stress that on a real machine it works and on VMWare is also works fine. |

| #523 | fixed | Bluescreen 7E caused by VBoxUSBFlt.sys | ||
| Description |
I use VirtualBox 1.3.8 in an IBM Thinkpad T40p with a Docking-Station. Attached to this Docking-Station is an Lexmark X340 MFP. Everytime i undock an dock back my Notebook to the Docking-Station i get a bluescreen when i switch on the USB-attached Lexmark-Printer just when the Printer tells Windows his ready-state. After analysing the minidump with WinDbg i found out that VirtualBox was the cause. Attached to this Ticket is the output from WinDbg. I hope this helps! |
