| #12436 | obsolete | Can no longer create VMs: This folder already exists and possibly belongs to another machine | ||
| Description |
"Cannot create the machine folder _ in the parent folder_. This folder already exists and possibly belongs to another machine." The underscores aren't really there, but there is a space in those two places. I think there are supposed to be pathnames there. The default path for VMs is already set, and I have created dozens before now. The VM names I'm trying to use are not already existing folders. I just upgraded from a recent 4.2 to 4.3.4 with no change in this behaviour. Existing VMs run fine though. I've tried to create a windows and a freebsd vm, just in case it made a difference (it didn't). Doesn't matter if I choose to create a disk or not, either. |

| #18610 | fixed | SSL certificate mixup -> fixed | ||
| Description |
I'm not sure where else to submit this as the bug is with the virtualbox website not virtualbox. You have assigned the download.oracle.com SSL certificate to download.virtualbox.org domain. This means that the download links on the virtualbox website are not functional because all modern browsers will throw a certificate mismatch error and not load the page or start a download from it. |

| #11214 | obsolete | Identical USB Devices Not Configuring Properly | ||
| Description |
Oracle Virtual Box Version: 4.2.4 with Virtual Box Tools Installed. Host is Windows 7 64 Bit. Guest(s) are Windows XP 32-Bit SP3. I have 4 USB Devices (Dongles) which are totally identical and attached to my Host (Windows 7). As guest I have 4 Windows XP Guests running. As a part of testing, each of these identical USB Dongles have to be inserted in each Guest OS, so that internet can be run through these dongles on each Guest OS. Problem is when we insert the first device it plugs in first Gues properly. But when second and afterwards 3rd and 4th devices are attached they are not shown in their respective VM's. Infact, VboxManage.exe list usbhosts shows the devices are captured but they are not shown in their respective VM's. I have tried both command line and from GUI Application but none of them seems working. A similar Question was asked on Forums as well for the same: https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=52697 and it was suggested to raise a Bug for this. |
